CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE SYNTHETIC TURF INDUSTRY
The synthetic turf industry faces several sustainability challenges. These challenges come from different directions. On the one hand, there are the EU targets for carbon reduction, circularity, and care for people and regions. Then there is the ECHA ban on microplastics which affects the artificial grass system itself. In addition, there is a societal shift. People these days are increasingly taking sustainability into account when adopting a product.
All of these challenges require a self-regulating business model and activities: Corporate Social Responsibility. Domo® Sports Grass has developed a CSR policy that focuses on the environmental challenges they have identified:
1. Realise carbon reduction
2. Create a circular economy
3. Caring for people
4. Make ECHA-certified products
They seek to achieve these focus points by offering an eco-friendly products range, obtaining sustainable certifications and join networks.
Quilombo productions was asked to turn this complex info into an attractive and informative film. For this, we combined infographics with live footage to make the whole thing coherent and attractive.

Binnen hun MVO beleid heeft Domo Sports Grass & Domo Landscaping een sterk Environmental- Social Governance (ESG) programma geïmplementeerd. Dit wordt toegepast binnen elke stap van het productieproces: van de toeleveringsketen, productie, installatie, tot en met de verwerking aan het einde van de levensduur. Bovendien zal je van hun kant meer en meer ontwikkelingen zien van nieuwe milieuvriendelijke kunstgrasoplossingen. Als klant krijg je dus een partner die zich engageert en allianties aangaat met netwerken en organisaties die zich inzetten voor het milieu en de maatschappij.
Een zelfregulerend bedrijfsmodel helpt hen om op een verantwoorde manier om te gaan met besluitvorming en bedrijfsactiviteiten ten aanzien van maatschappij en milieu.
Quilombo productions werd gevraagd om deze complexe info in een aantrekkelijke en informatieve film te verwerken. We combineerden hiervoor infographics met live beelden om het geheel samenhangend en aantrekkelijk te maken.
